S.L. Horsford & Co. Ltd. Congratulates Reneé Davis – Miss Culture Queen 2025

Horsford’s Nevis Center Employee and Cultural Powerhouse Takes the Crown During Company’s 150th Anniversary Year.

Basseterre, St. Kitts — S.L. Horsford & Co. Ltd., the Federation’s most iconic trading company, proudly congratulates Miss Reneé Davis, who was crowned Miss Culture Queen 2025 at this year’s Bank of Nevis Miss Culture Queen Pageant. Reneé proudly represented Miss S.L. Horsford’s in the prestigious competition — and her crowning is made even more special by the fact that she is a beloved member of the Horsford’s family, serving as a Cashier/Customer Service Representative at Horsford’s Nevis Center.

Reneé’s exceptional display of beauty, brilliance, and cultural expression throughout the pageant was a source of immense pride for the company, which this year celebrates a monumental milestone — 150 years of dedicated service to St. Kitts and Nevis, making it the longest-established trading company in the Federation and possibly the entire Caribbean.

Beyond the stage, Reneé has also earned accolades for her exemplary customer service and professionalism at Horsford’s Nevis Center. Earlier this year, Pastor Ron Daniel, a respected public figure in Nevis, publicly praised Reneé in a heartfelt Facebook post for her outstanding service and grace, writing:

> “Horsford’s should be proud of the young lady they have working at the checkout. Very pleasant, courteous, welcoming, efficient and patient. I watched her handle the pressure like a pro!”

As we celebrate our 150th anniversary this year, her victory feels especially symbolic. It reflects our legacy of investing in people and honouring those who uplift others through both service and culture. Miss Davis is more than a queen — she is a shining ambassador of Horsford’s spirit, past and future.”

Reneé’s win adds to a growing legacy of empowered, community-rooted individuals who continue to rise and inspire while wearing the Horsford’s name with pride. She now embarks on a year-long reign as Miss Culture Queen 2025, carrying with her the spirit of excellence that defines both her journey and the Horsford’s tradition.
