Press Release

The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force would like to take this opportunity to report that last weekend’s activities for the 19th Annual St. Kitts Music Festival and Sunday’s finale the White Sands Event, were incident free.

We commend our citizens for doing their part to ensure that the events were safe for themselves, their friends, families and visitors to our shores. We thank you for your support and patience, during security checks at entrances and vehicular access points, as we ensured adherence to the established security policies.

I would like to thank Lt. Colonel Wallace and the members of the St. Kitts Nevis Defence Force who augmented our efforts nightly. Your dedication and commitment, contributed significantly to mission accomplishment, that being ensuring an incident free Festival.

To the entertainers both international and in particular our locals like Infamus, Mr. Bagnal, Small Axe and the others, we commend you for bringing forth quality entertainment for all to enjoy.

To the members of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force, we in the High Command commend you for your dedication and professionalism over the exhausting nights of the festival. You should be proud of your contributions. We are.

As we move forward and focus on the upcoming CPL games at Warner Park, let us continue with the same spirit of celebration we showed last weekend, and have a safe and enjoyable cricket series.

May god continue to bless our nation, and our force.

Thank you.
