Strengthening Partnership Between St. Kitts and Nevis, CARICOM and the European Union Discussed in Brussels

BRUSSELS, BELGIUM, June 15, 2026 – Strengthening the partnership between St. Kitts and Nevis, CARICOM and the European Union was the major talking point between St. Kitts and Nevis’ Prime Minister Hon. Dr Terrance Drew.

In discussions with Salvador Pinto da França, Adviser for Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean in the Cabinet of the High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission, Prime Minister Drew “advanced issues of sustainable development, expanding economic opportunities, and ensuring that small island states like ours continue to have a strong voice on the global stage.”

“These conversations matter. They help open doors for investment, deepen cooperation, and create new opportunities for our people as we continue building a stronger, more resilient future,: said Dr. Drew after the talks.
