Five youthful Nevisian swimmers left the Federation yesterday, en route to Barbados, where they will compete in the Sonia O’Neal Memorial International Invitational
The swimmers are:
– Edith Denne — 9–10 age group
– Abhijith Srinivasan — 13–14 age group
– Teadrian Tross — 11–12 age group
– Akimba Cornelius — 8 & Under age group
– Kawhi Hendrickson — 8 & Under age group
Coach James Weekes noted that the meet will be used as a development meet for the young swimmers, intending to achieve best times and hopefully to qualify for the upcoming OECS meet, slated for St. Lucia, later this year.
Also accompanying the team are Assistant coach, Annelise Leibbrandt, along with some of the parents of the children.
