The Runako Morton/TDC Primary Schools’ Cricket tournament, continued at the ET Willet Park on Friday 21st June, with two matches.
In game one, the Maude Cross Preparatory School engaged the Elizabeth Pemberton Primary School.
The Maude Cross team batted their way impressively to a grand total of 72 for 9 in their 15 overs, with Elroy Berkley slamming 20.
They then forced the EPPS team to struggle, as they tried to get the winning target
However, some untidy fielding and bowling in parts, eventually cost them the game.

In game two, it was a much anticipated clash between Charlestown Primary and Ivor Walters Primary
Ivor Walters batted first and scored a competitive 81 for 3 from the 12 allotted overs, with Kenron Freeman muscling 28 not out.
The big question was-Was the total enough?
At one point, with Justin Athanaze motoring along quite smoothly, the CPS team seemed in control of the game but a few crucial wickets, made a telling impact on the outcome.
The CPS team fell just 10 runs short but that was enough reason for the IWPS team and their fan base to celebrate.
