The West Indies Were Made to Toil on the Opening Day of The third Test match Against New Zealand on Wednesday, December 17.

New Zealand won the toss and elected to bat first. Openers Devon Conway and Tom Latham dominated the day’s play, putting together a superb partnership of 323 runs before being separated late in the day.

Conway ended the day on 178 not out, while Latham contributed an impressive 137. Kemar Roach claimed the lone wicket as New Zealand closed on 334 for 1.

The West Indies will be hoping for improved fortunes when play resumes tomorrow.
