Basseterre, St. Kitts, October 29, (RSCNPF): On Friday night (October 28) one male and one female were the victims of an armed robbery and shooting incident on Wellington Road. The female victim died early Saturday morning while undergoing treatment at the Joseph N. France General Hospital.
She sustained gunshot injuries during the armed robbery which occurred sometime after 7.00pm on Friday (October 28) in the vicinity of the Royal Bank of Canada on Wellington Road while making a night deposit drop.
Both victims were taken to Joseph N. France General Hospital for treatment.
As the investigation into this murder and robbery continues, the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police appeals to anyone who may have been in the area and may have seen the incident to come forward with any information they may have.
