Youth Talent Shines At 2026 Bank of Nevis Tourism Youth Congress

CHARLESTOWN, NEVIS — The future of tourism in Nevis was placed firmly in the spotlight as students from across the island showcased their creativity, confidence, and leadership skills during the 2026 Bank of Nevis Tourism Youth Congress held at the Nevis Performing Arts Centre (NEPAC).

The Ministry of Tourism Nevis extended heartfelt congratulations and appreciation to all participating students, teachers, schools, supporters, and organisers who contributed to the success of the event.

The Congress served as an inspiring platform for young people to share innovative ideas and perspectives on the future of tourism in Nevis, while demonstrating exceptional public speaking, critical thinking, and presentation skills.

Special recognition was given to the top performers of the competition:

First Place: Rondré Daniel — Charlestown Secondary School
Second Place: Alison Gishard — Gingerland Secondary School
Third Place: Ajerne’e Hodge — Gingerland Secondary School

The Ministry commended all participants for their dedication, preparation, and professionalism throughout the competition, noting that each student represented their school and community with pride and excellence.

Officials also expressed sincere appreciation to the Bank of Nevis for its continued partnership and support in empowering and encouraging the next generation of tourism ambassadors in Nevis.

The Ministry emphasized that the Tourism Youth Congress continues to play an important role in nurturing leadership, communication skills, and youth involvement within the tourism sector, while inspiring students to become active contributors to the island’s future development.
