Charges Laid In Relation to Firearm and Ammunition Find

Basseterre, St. Kitts, September 18, 2018 (RSCNPF): The three men who were in Police custody in relation to the largest ammunition and second largest firearm find in the Federation have been formally arrested and charged.

Ishawn Wilkes of Mad House Alley, Newtown, Utendale Whyte of Walwyn Avenue, McKnight and Keneil Halls of Keys Village were all given eleven  charges in the matter on September 15. They have been charged with Possession of Cannabis, Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply, Possession of Ammunition with eighty-eight  .45 mm rounds, Possession of Ammunition  with eighty-six  .40 mm rounds, Possession of Ammunition  with forty-three 9mm rounds, Possession of Ammunition  with thirty-seven  7.62 mm rounds, Possession of Ammunition  with thirty-three  .38 mm rounds, Possession of Firearm  with one .38 Smith and Wesson revolver, Possession of Firearm  with one  Glock .27 pistol, Possession of Firearm  with one  Glock .26 pistol, Possession of Firearm  with one  Glock .21 pistol, Possession of Firearm  with one  Glock .22 pistol and Possession of Firearm  with one Glock .17 pistol.

The firearms and ammunition were found during an operation the Police conducted in Keys Village on September 12. Another individual is being sought by Police in relation to the matter. The find brings the number of firearms taken into Police custody for the year to twenty-nine .
