Queen City Nevis Lions Club Begins 2026–2027 Lionistic Year with Thanksgiving Service

Nevis — The members of the Queen City Nevis Lions Club gathered in worship at the Gingerland Methodist Church to give thanks to God and officially mark the beginning of the 2026–2027 Lionistic Year.

The thanksgiving service was a meaningful occasion, bringing together Lions, family members, and supporters in a spirit of gratitude and reflection. Members celebrated the Club’s accomplishments over the past year, reflected on its journey of service, and sought God’s guidance and blessings for the year ahead.

A highlight of the service was the recognition of the Club’s newly installed President, Lion Chanelle Pinney Myers, who now assumes the leadership of the organization for the 2026–2027 Lionistic Year. Her installation symbolizes the beginning of a new chapter as the Club continues its mission of serving the people of Nevis with dedication and compassion.

As the Queen City Nevis Lions Club embarks on this new Lionistic Year, members reaffirm their commitment to the Lions Clubs International motto, “We Serve.” Guided by this enduring principle, the Club looks forward to implementing impactful community service initiatives that promote hope, strengthen fellowship, and improve the lives of those they serve across the island.

Under the leadership of President Lion Chanelle Pinney Myers, the Queen City Nevis Lions Club remains focused on purposeful leadership, meaningful service, and building stronger communities through volunteerism and collaboration.
