Off to a Remarkable Start!
We could not have asked for a more inspiring and meaningful launch to our 40th Anniversary celebrations. Nearly 100 members of our BON family joined Pastor Wayne Maynard and the Shiloh Baptist Church congregation for what was truly a memorable and spirit-filled service.
The singing—especially the beautiful contribution from our very own BON Choir (under the direction of Shirletta Byron-former HR Manager)- was uplifting and soul-stirring.
The beautiful harmonies of the Shiloh Choir filled the sanctuary, setting a tone of reverence and joy. Their performance was matched only by the breathtaking solo rendered by Mrs Renell Daniel, daughter-in-law of our esteemed founder, Dr Simeon Daniel, and wife of our director, Adrian Daniel.
Adding to the moment, the soulful saxophone accompaniment by one of our very own security officers, Llewelyn Newton (Junior), and the mastery of Stascius Wallace, on the piano, showcased that BON is not only strong and resilient, but rich with remarkable, homegrown talent.
The young musicians (children of Renell and Adrian), graced us with exceptional talent that left many in awe.
Our CEO, Denrick Liburd, delivered an insightful and heartfelt presentation that placed our people at the very centre of BON’s mission and future. Our Chairman, Damion Hobson, further underscored our gratitude and commitment to the community by presenting a generous donation on behalf of the Bank.
And through Jasmine Herbert’s Scripture reading, we were reminded of an uplifting message that grounded the morning in purpose and faith.
Pastor Maynard’s message was powerful, timely, and encouraging. And the record turnout of our staff was nothing short of historic.
We extend heartfelt thanks to the Shiloh Baptist Church for graciously partnering with us and helping to make this opening event so special.
Special commendation goes to our Social Events & Ceremonies Sub-Committee for their exceptional planning and coordination. Your dedication ensured a seamless and impactful start to our 40th Anniversary journey.
We also thank the reigning Bank of Nevis Miss Culture Queen, Reneé Davis, for accepting our invitation to join us.
