The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) is investigating an armed robbery that occurred in Newtown, St. Kitts, during the early morning hours of November 1st, 2025.
According to reports, Ronnie Barriteau of Bird Rock, St. Kitts, stated that while in the vicinity of George and Douglas Streets between 5 a.m. and 6 a.m., he was approached by a masked male armed with a firearm who demanded his valuables. Mr Barriteau complied with the assailant’s demands, after which the suspect fled the scene on foot.
Following initial investigations conducted by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), with support from the Special Services Unit (SSU), one male individual has been taken into custody to assist with ongoing inquiries.
