Archibald is set to compete in both league and cup competitions, marking a significant milestone in his cricketing career as he takes his talents to English conditions.

The all-rounder has made it clear that his primary focus will be contributing to Knowle CC’s success with both bat and ball. While he has set a personal goal of scoring his first century in English conditions, he emphasised that team performance remains his top priority.

“As an overseas player, the onus is always on you to perform and deliver for the team,” Archibald said. “I’ve always seen myself as someone who rises to the occasion, and I’m genuinely looking forward to the challenge in England.”

Beyond his on-field responsibilities, Archibald views the opportunity as an important step in his personal and professional development. He aims to adapt to the unique demands of English cricket, expand his network within the global cricketing community, and further develop his skills as both a player and a coach.

At Knowle CC, he is expected to take on a dual role, contributing not only as a player but also as a coach. His versatility, experience, and leadership are expected to make a valuable impact both on and off the field.

In preparation for the season, Archibald participated in the Leeward Islands senior men’s trials, two-day cricket in Antigua, and domestic 40-over competitions in Nevis. Ongoing training with Brown Hill Cricket Club has also ensured he remains match-ready ahead of his departure.

Brown Hill Cricket Club has extended its best wishes to Archibald and will be closely following his progress throughout the WEPL season.
