Athletics : EPPS Hosts Road Relays

There was great excitement at Elizabeth Pemberton Primary School on Wednesday, January 22nd, as the school hosted its annual road relay.

The race for Kindergarten to Grade 2 children began at the school, where they made a loop past the Montpelier Hotel and returned to the school. The Grades 3 to 6 girls and boys started their race at Lucina Chapman’s shop in Clay Ghaut, passing through Beaumont and Cox, then continuing past the Montpelier Hotel before heading back to the school.

One record was broken by the Red House in the Kindergarten to Grade 2 category.

**Kindergarten to Grade 2:**
1. 1st: Red (with a new record)
2. 2nd: Gold
3. 3rd: Green

**Grades 3 to 6 Girls:**
1. 1st: Green
2. 2nd: Red
3. 3rd: Gold

**Grades 3 to 6 Boys:**
1. 1st: Gold
2. 2nd: Green
3. 3rd: Red
