Calypso Brings Highlights down Low

The second game of the ongoing Tape ball Cricket tournament which is being hosted by the Youth and Sports Department, was played at the ET Willet Park on the evening of Sunday 7th October.
Highlights came up against Calypso, in what ended to be a one sided affair.
Calypso won the toss and opted to send in the Highlights men, who never really got going, except for Peter Charles, who remained busy while he was at the crease.
Veteran Masters’ cricketer, Wendell MICEY Wallace, struggled badly at the other end and was not out on 11 when the 10 overs were completed.
Calypso brought into the mix, veteran wrist spinner Ev Webb, who has been out of the game on a self-imposed sabbatical but who bowled impressively, as if he had hardly missed a heartbeat.
The Highlights team struggled to an eventual total of 64 for 3 from their 10 allotted overs.
The Calypso men in response, also had their moments of struggling to cope with the tight bowling presented by the Highlights team and they just barely managed to creep home at the end, as the winning run was scored from the penultimate delivery of the 10th over.
