Bank of Nevis Invest in Leadership Developement Through Performance Management Training

CHARLESTOWN, NEVIS, June 2026 — The Bank of Nevis Limited continues to demonstrate its commitment to excellence in customer service and organisational performance through ongoing investment in staff development and leadership training.

As part of this commitment, the Bank has launched a comprehensive series of training sessions focused on Performance Management, Coaching, Mentoring, and Conducting Effective Performance Assessments.

The classroom-based programme, coordinated by the Bank’s Human Resources and Administration Department, brings together approximately 30 managers and supervisors from various departments and leadership levels across the organisation. The initiative is designed to strengthen leadership competencies, improve performance management practices, and enhance employee development throughout the Bank.

The training is being facilitated by Development Consulting Centre Limited and aims to equip participants with the skills and tools necessary to conduct meaningful performance conversations, provide effective coaching and mentoring, and support the successful implementation of the Bank’s Performance Management System.

Chief Human Resources and Administration Officer, Mr. Tandi Flood, highlighted the importance of investing in leadership development as a key component of organizational success.

“Effective coaching, mentoring, and performance assessment practices are critical to building and sustaining a high-performance culture,” Mr. Flood said. “By strengthening these capabilities among our leaders, we are enhancing employee engagement, improving accountability, and ensuring greater alignment between individual performance and the Bank’s strategic objectives.”

He further emphasized that strong leadership and effective performance management contribute directly to improved service delivery, operational excellence, and the Bank’s ability to meet the evolving needs of its customers and stakeholders.

The training sessions are being conducted from June 1–12, 2026, and form part of the Bank’s broader commitment to continuous learning, professional development, and organizational growth.
