Carl Tuckett-‘No Real Pressure’ On Debut

Carl Mc Arthur Tuckett is insisting that he was cool and composed as he stepped out to officiate in his first match as a regional umpire.
Facing the TV camera at the tea break on the first day, Tuckett stated that he looked at his first day on the job as an umpire at the regional level, in the same manner that he looked at making his debut into the West Indies one day team in –
‘I was very calm as I walked out. You see, I have been preparing for this and so I did not have any extra nerves. I am prepared and I am ready for the task at hand,’ said Tuckett.
The Nevis Masters’ team, of which Tuckett is the captain, sent out a congratulatory message to Tuckett via whats app and Minister of Sports in Nevis, Hon. Mark Brantley, also took time out on his face book page to salute the significant achievement of the promising umpire.
