The Antigua and Barbuda Masters’ cricket team has been crowned the 2026 Leeward Islands Masters’ champions, successfully defending the title they secured last year.
In their semi-final clash against St. Thomas, Antigua, and Barbuda posted an imposing 223 for 2, highlighted by an unbeaten 132 from Kerry Mentore. St. Thomas, in reply, managed just 124 for 7.
In the other semi-final, Nevis fell to St. Kitts. Nevis posted 134 in their 20 overs, but St. Kitts comfortably chased the target, reaching 135 for 4 in 18.3 overs.
This set up a showdown between Antigua and Barbuda and St. Kitts at the ET Willet Park. Batting first, St. Kitts were dismissed for a modest 96. Antigua and Barbuda responded confidently, reaching 99 for 4 to secure the championship.
The team also dominated the awards ceremony hosted by LIMCA President Anthony Rawlins, collecting several top honours:
