Another exciting match in the Harvey Stapleton T-20 competition, being hosted by the Nevis Cricket Association, was played at the Brown Hill Recreation grounds, on Saturday 1st January.

Home team Brown Hill, engaged New Vision.

Brown Hill won the toss and elected to bat first, but did not get to power away, due to some tight bowling from the New Vision bowlers.

They were eventually bowled out for 113 in the 20th over.

New Vision gave a valiant chase of the target, led by their two most experienced batsmen, in Carlon Smithen and Wendell Wallace, but the Brown Hill bowling proved a little too much—six runs too much, to be exact.

Summarized scores:
Brown Hill 113 all out in 19.2 overs: Trishawn Francis 25; Elsroy Powell 14; Cameron Pennyfeather 12 and there were 33 extras
Carlon Smithen 3 for 11; Wendell Wallace 2 for 7; Kimani Nisbett 2 for 18; Tyree Jeffers and Peter Charles 1 wicket each

New Vision 107 all out in 17.5 overs: Carlon Smithen 29; Wendell Wallace 13 and there were 34 extras

Shaheed Tyson 3 for 18; Elsroy Powell 3 for 21; Kezron Archibald 2 for 14; Cameron Pennyfeather 2 for 20
