Cricket West Indies (CWI) is delighted to unveil the 15-member squad selected for the historic T20 International Series against Nepal, scheduled to take place at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium, UAE, from September 27–30, 2025.
This groundbreaking series, the first-ever between the two nations, forms a key part of the West Indies’ preparations for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, which will be staged in subcontinent conditions.
With the series falling outside the ICC’s Future Tours Programme (FTP), selectors have opted to give opportunities to several emerging talents who excelled in the inaugural West Indies Breakout League and the ongoing Caribbean Premier League (CPL). At the same time, a number of senior players have been rested to manage their workloads.
Akeal Hosein, a key figure in the T20I leadership group, has been appointed captain of a squad that includes six potential debutants.
