Deadline for Nominations for 15th Edition of 25 Most Remarkable Teens is April 30, 2026

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS — The deadline for the submission of nominations for this year’s 25 Most Remarkable Teens programme is April 30, 2026.

The St. Kitts Department of Youth Empowerment has published a list of eligibility requirements, which is attached. These include the requirement that nominees be no younger than 13 and no older than 19 by the end of the nomination year. Nominees must also complete and submit a report on a volunteer project to be considered for an interview. Additionally, nominees must demonstrate capacity in a nominated category and possess a record of remarkable character, contributions to society, and/or notable accomplishments.

Nomination forms are available at all secondary schools and at the Department of Youth in St. Kitts and Nevis.

Members of this distinguished group are recognised for their outstanding contributions across several areas in the presence of their parents, sitting parliamentarians, diplomats, and invited guests.

At its inception in 2011, nominations were accepted across various categories, including Courage to Overcome, Music, Leadership, Civic Involvement, Most Promising Teen, Community Service, and Spiritual Commitment, among others.

The 25 Most Remarkable Teens in St. Kitts programme was introduced by then Minister of Youth Empowerment, Hon. Glenn “Ghost” Phillip, to raise the profile of young people making positive and impactful contributions. At the time, the Director of Youth was Mr. Geoffrey Hanley, now the Hon. Dr. Geoffrey Hanley, Deputy Prime Minister and Parliamentary Representative for St. Christopher I (East Basseterre).
