Football: FA Cup Round of 16 Delivers Goals, Drama and Dominant Performances

The Round of 16 in the FA Cup competition produced an exciting weekend of football action across multiple venues on March 27–28, 2026, with several dominant victories, standout individual performances, and one thrilling penalty shoot-out deciding a tightly contested match.

Matches were played at The Gardens Playing Field and the Saddlers Playing Field.

Friday, March 27 Results

T. Fraites & Assoc. Molineux Pitbulls 3 – 0 Tropical Blossom Hot Spring Bath United
After a goalless first half, Molineux took control in the second period. Darren Brookes netted twice (58th, 85th minutes), while Quanieki Clarke sealed the win in stoppage time (90+4).

Rams Village Superstars delivered the most emphatic result of the round, leading 2–1 at halftime before exploding in the second half. MFCR United Old Road Jets 2 – 2 TGE Dieppe Bay Eagles (Old Road Jets win 3–1 on penalties)
This was the most closely contested match of the day. Goals from Jardel Isaac and J’Quante Fraser gave Old Road the edge, but Dieppe Bay responded through Diandra Challenger and Jamar Johnson.
In the penalty shoot-out, Old Road Jets prevailed 3–1 with successful conversions from Nejohn Browne, Omarion Liburd, and Anwa Springer.

SOL Island Auto Conaree 5 – 1 Rivers FC
After a balanced first half, Conaree dominated the second. Mazari Hodge starred with a hat-trick (46th, 53rd, 60th minutes), while Errol O’loughlin and Tijani Fahie added to the tally. Lemar Irish scored for Rivers FC.

Development Bank St. Peters 1 – 0 Honda Newtown United

SKELEC Garden Hotspurs 4 – 1 CIBC Village Galaxy

Azul Cayon Rockets 2 – 0 St. Kitts Concrete Master Sandy Point
