Jazzique Wows Audience at Album Launch

Charlestown, Nevis- Jazzique Chiverton demonstrated his mastery on keyboards, as backed up by his Green House band and the occasional electrifying sounds of Melvin MELLIE Hewlett on the pan, he totally captivated a sizeable audience at the Montpelier Beach, on the evening of Thursday 16th December.

It was the launch of his album, officially named ‘SON OF A MANGO.’

The local musician is fascinated by the fact that mango season came early this year and as a proud KITTI-NEVISIAN, he had his fair share.

He refers to the album as ‘Caribbean Chic’ which is his unique way of describing the wide fusion of various genres of music wrapped up in the production.

A combination of soca, reggae, dance hall, zouk, compa and dub, colliding with classical, jazz, pop, R&B, traps and the blues.

The album was also released on all digital platforms: iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon, Deezer and more.

Jazzique is adamant that ‘music soothes the savage beast’ and notes that there is no bigger beast worldwide at this time than the coronavirus.

So, he is confident that this album would bring a feeling of contentment, in this world of despair.

Copies of the album are currently available at various boutiques in St. Kitts and Nevis.
