Basseterre, St. Kitts – The Ministry of Education officially launched its annual pre-service training programme for future teachers on Wednesday, June 18, with an opening ceremony held at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Auditorium.
The programme is being conducted under the theme, “Transforming Education Through Self-Renewal, Holistic Partnerships and Digital Solutions,” reflecting the Ministry’s commitment to preparing a new generation of educators equipped to meet the evolving demands of the education sector.
This year’s theme underscores the importance of continuous self-improvement among educators, the cultivation of meaningful partnerships among schools, families and communities, and the strategic use of digital tools to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.
Officials from the Ministry of Education emphasized that investing in teacher preparation remains a key priority, as educators play a pivotal role in shaping the nation’s future.
