BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS- The North American Taiwanese Medical Association (NATMA) has begun its first-ever medical mission to St. Kitts and Nevis.

Besides their free medical services, the mission has made a generous donation of two portable dental X-ray machines, essential prescription drugs, and medical supplements to ensure the long-term support of the federation’s healthcare infrastructure.

“This milestone mission beautifully reflects the enduring friendship and strong partnership between St. Kitts and Nevis and the Republic of China (Taiwan) — a bond built on decades of cooperation, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to improving lives,” the Embassy said in a statement.

“We extend our deepest gratitude to NATMA, the Federal Ministry of Health, the Nevis Island Administration, and everyone who made this possible for their incredible generosity, service, and dedication to the health and well-being of our people,” .

Led by Dr. Charles Hsu, the delegation of 17 volunteer healthcare professionals from the United States and Canada is providing free medical, dental, and specialist services to citizens and residents across both St. Kitts and Nevis from June 1–4.
