CHARLESTOWN, Nevis – The Nevis Film Commission is celebrating the worldwide premiere of Tides of Temptation, a suspense drama executive-produced by acclaimed actor Taye Diggs and filmed on the island of Nevis.

The production, which also features Autumn Federici of The Ninth House as producer and Troy Brookins as co-producer, launches as Lifetime’s first micro-drama and serves as the flagship title of the newly launched MicroHouse Films app. The project places Nevis at the forefront of the rapidly growing mobile-first entertainment industry.

Secured by the Nevis Film Commission in December 2025, Tides of Temptation reflects the Commission’s strategic efforts to attract high-profile international productions while positioning Nevis as both a breathtaking Caribbean destination and an emerging hub for innovative film and television content.

The production not only highlights the island’s natural beauty and diverse filming locations but also demonstrates Nevis’ capacity to support cutting-edge storytelling formats designed for global audiences. As vertical, mobile-first content continues to reshape the entertainment landscape, Tides of Temptation represents an important milestone in the island’s expanding screen production portfolio.

By bringing together established Hollywood talent, world-class Caribbean locations, and an innovative digital distribution model, the production further reinforces Nevis’ growing reputation as a destination capable of supporting ambitious international film and television projects.

The premiere of Tides of Temptation marks another significant achievement for the Nevis Film Commission’s strategy to diversify the island’s film industry and attract productions across multiple platforms. With Paradise with You also scheduled for release later this year, Nevis is strengthening its presence across both traditional television programming and emerging mobile-first entertainment, expanding its reach to new audiences around the world.

Beyond promoting the island internationally, these productions create meaningful economic opportunities by engaging local businesses, service providers, crew members, and hospitality partners, while contributing to skills development within the creative sector.

The Nevis Film Commission remains committed to supporting local and international productions through competitive incentives, location services, logistical support, and strategic partnerships. Through these efforts, the Commission continues to foster sustainable growth within the screen industry, generate employment opportunities, and position Nevis as one of the Caribbean’s premier destinations for film, television, and digital content.
