Nevis — The Nevis Tourism Authority (NTA) proudly participated in the third edition of Saveurs Caraïbes, held on March 9–10, 2026 in Saint-Barthélemy, where Nevis was featured as the Guest destination.
Hosted by the Saint-Barthélemy Territorial Tourism Committee, the event is a signature celebration of Caribbean culture, gastronomy, and heritage. Building on the success of previous editions, Saveurs Caraïbes 2026 provided a vibrant platform for Nevis to showcase its culinary traditions, cultural expressions, and authentic island experiences.
Throughout the two-day event, Nevis delivered an immersive, multi-sensory experience featuring musical performances, artisan displays and culinary tastings with the Nevis Mango Festival emerging as a major highlight of the showcase. The island’s presence was a standout, offering attendees a true taste of Nevisian culture.
The Nevis delegation was led by the Premier of Nevis, Hon. Mark Brantley, who underscored the importance of strengthening regional ties and positioning Nevis alongside leading Caribbean destinations. “Nevis and St. Barths are both luxury destinations within the Caribbean, and we attract a similar clientele. Authority continues to pursue a closer relationship with St. Barths, and Saveurs Caraïbes provided an excellent platform to showcase Nevis’ food, music, art, and culture to a St. Barths audience. I thank the President of St. Barths Tourism, Alexandra Questel, and her entire team for their warm hospitality, and we look forward to far more collaboration with St. Barths as we deepen and strengthen our relationship,” he stated.
The delegation also included members of the Nevis Tourism Authority; Andia Ravarieré, CEO, Shelisia Glasford, Director of VIP & MICE. Cavelle Swanston-Howell and Tracy Frazer, Visitor Center Coordinators; and Charmin Jeffers, Accounting Secretary.
Culinary excellence was at the forefront, with Chefs Joyelle Phillip and Wilroy Webbe presenting authentic Nevisian dishes. Attendees also enjoyed the vibrant sounds of the Odisi Band, while local artisans including Shobaina Prince (Native Radiance), Charlyn Blake (Chacha Accessories), Deborah Tyrell (Nevis Island Living), and Nicole E. Rogers (Juliansdóttir) showcased handcrafted pieces reflective of Nevis’ culture and creativity.
Additional highlights included appearances by Steve Reid of the Department of Agriculture, basket weaver Oveta Liburd, and rum expert Mark Theron, Clifton Estate Rum, further enriching the experience. The Nevis Chamber of Commerce also lent valuable support to the initiative, contributing to the overall success and representation of the destination at the event.
Reflecting on the success of the event, Andia Ravarieré, CEO of the Nevis Tourism Authority, noted the importance of such regional platforms.

The event successfully highlighted Nevis as a premier Caribbean cultural and culinary destination, strengthening regional partnerships and increasing awareness among European summer travellers, luxury visitors, and travel media. Nevis engaged directly with attendees, leaving a lasting impression and opening doors for future collaboration and visitation.
Saveurs Caraïbes 2026 proved to be a valuable opportunity to celebrate Caribbean identity, foster cultural exchange, and reinforce Nevis’ position as a must-visit destination within the regional and international tourism landscape.
