BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, January 8, 2026 — Officers of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) conducted a community walkthrough in McKnight on Thursday as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen police–community relations and promote public safety.
Residents shared concerns affecting their neighbourhood, offered recommendations, and highlighted areas where policing efforts have made a positive impact. Officers listened attentively, documented issues for follow-up, and provided safety and security information directly to households.
Commissioner Sutton emphasised that effective community policing depends on visibility, accountability, and meaningful personal engagement. Walkthroughs such as this allow officers and residents to connect where it matters most—within the community itself.
The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force expressed appreciation to the residents of McKnight for their openness, cooperation, and continued support. These engagements play a vital role in shaping responsive policing, strengthening partnerships, and building safer communities for all.
