💵 BE ALERT FOR COUNTERFEIT US CURRENCY
Before accepting US dollar banknotes:
🔹 Feel the note – genuine US currency has a distinct texture and raised printing.
🔹 Check security features – look for the watermark, security thread, and colour-shifting ink.
🔹 Compare suspicious notes with one you know is genuine.
🔹 Exercise extra caution when accepting large-denomination bills.
🔹 Business owners: ensure all staff handling cash are familiar with these security features before the Festival begins.
🎟️ PROTECT YOURSELF FROM TICKET FRAUD
🔹 Purchase tickets only from authorised vendors and official sales outlets.
🔹 Avoid buying from unknown individuals, unofficial online resellers, or strangers at the gate.
🔹 Verify electronic tickets through official event channels before attending.
🔹 Be cautious of tickets sold at unusually low prices. If it seems too good to be true, it probably is.
🪪 WATCH FOR FRAUDULENT DOCUMENTS & IDENTIFICATION
Businesses are encouraged to:
🔹 Carefully inspect identification documents presented during transactions.
🔹 Verify credentials if there is any doubt about their authenticity.
🔹 Report suspected forged IDs, permits, or official documents to the Police immediately.

✅ Retain the item in question only if it is safe and lawful to do so.
✅ Note any identifying details about the person involved.
✅ Contact the nearest Police station or call 911 immediately.
