Red House Secures Narrow Victory After Road Relays at IWPS

Red House emerged as the overall heats champions at the Ivor Walters Primary School (IWPS) following an exciting and closely contested road relays event held on Friday, 6 February.

Thanks to a series of outstanding performances, Red House captured five gold medals on the day, allowing them to narrowly edge out Gold House for championship honours. The competition remained tight throughout, keeping athletes and spectators on edge until the final results were tallied.

In the K–2 Girls category, Red House claimed first place, followed by Green in second and Gold in third. The K–2 Boys race saw a similar outcome, with Red again taking top honours ahead of Green and Gold.

Gold House responded strongly in the 3–4 Girls division, securing first place, while Green finished second and Red placed third. However, Red House bounced back in the 3–4 Boys event, finishing first ahead of Gold and Green.

The dominance of Red House continued in the senior divisions. In the 5–6 Girls ‘ race, Red took first place, followed by Green and Gold, while the 5–6 Boys race also went in Red’s favour, with Gold finishing second and Green third.
