St. Kitts And Nevis Crowned OECS 3×3 Basketball Champions

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts — St. Kitts and Nevis is celebrating a historic regional triumph after the SKNABA National Under-23 Men’s 3×3 Team captured the inaugural Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) OECS 3×3 Basketball Championship, held in the British Virgin Islands.

This landmark victory marks a defining moment for the Federation, as the young national team delivered an outstanding performance against top competition from across the OECS. Their success underscores the growing strength, discipline, and rising potential of basketball in St. Kitts and Nevis.

Minister of Sports, the Honourable Samal Duggins, praised the team’s achievement, stating, “This outstanding accomplishment is a proud moment for St. Kitts and Nevis and a true reflection of the talent, determination, and hard work of our young athletes.” He further commended the players, coaches, and management team, as well as all those who contributed to this historic victory.

With this achievement, St. Kitts and Nevis proudly claims the title of OECS Champions, as the Under-23 squad has demonstrated that the Federation’s young athletes are fully capable of competing at the highest regional level—and winning.
