BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS — The Fifty-First Regular Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) is scheduled to take place from July 5 to July 8, 2026, according to the Guyana-based CARICOM Secretariat.
The high-level regional meeting will be hosted in Castries, Saint Lucia, where Caribbean leaders will convene to address key issues impacting the region, including economic development, regional integration, and cooperation.
During the meeting, Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis, Hon. Dr Terrance M. Drew, the current CARICOM Chairman, will officially hand over chairmanship of the Conference to Prime Minister of Saint Lucia, Hon. Philip J. Pierre.
The transition marks an important moment in CARICOM’s leadership cycle, as Saint Lucia prepares to assume responsibility for guiding the regional agenda over the upcoming term.
