Twelve New Police Recruits Sworn In, Bringing January Training Cohort to 24

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS  — The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force is pleased to announce that twelve recruits have officially taken the oath of office, strengthening the ranks as the organisation prepares for its upcoming training cohort in January 2026.

The recruits were sworn in on December 2nd, 2025, marking the second intake within one month and bringing the total number of recruits for the next training cycle to twenty-four. The first group of twelve recruits took their oath on November 2nd.

“This continued intake reflects the Force’s unwavering commitment to enhancing operational readiness, improving manpower levels, and elevating the quality of service provided to the people of St. Kitts and Nevis,” the Police Force said in an official statement.

The oath ceremony was administered before Deputy Commissioner of Police Cromwell Henry, who encouraged the recruits to uphold the highest standards of discipline, integrity, and professionalism as they embark on their policing careers.

Also in attendance were Force Personnel Officer Eartha Carey; Assistant Commissioners of Police James Francis and Travis Rogers; and Training School Commander Superintendent Reynold Myers, all lending their support to the newest members of the organisation.
