UVI President and SKN Prime Minister to sign MOU

The University of the Virgin Islands [UVI] will strengthen its partnership with the government and people of St. Kitts and Nevis, this month, when UVI President, Dr. David Hall, visits the twin-island federation, next Tuesday [July 23].

While on St. Kitts, Dr. Hall and St. Kitts-Nevis’ Prime Minister, the Right Honourable Dr. Denzil Douglas, will sign a Memorandum of Understanding [MOU], thereby expanding UVI’s educational outreach. The MOU signing is being planned for July 24 at 8:30am at the Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College on St. Kitts.

Prior to Wednesday’s event, Dr. Hall will, on Tuesday [July 23] at 7:30pm, meet with members of the institution’s Alumni Association. During the gathering, which will be held at the Foundation for National Development [FND] Credit Union Conference Room, President Hall will provide an update on the institution and facilitate questions and suggestions from the Alumni Association.

The University of the Virgin Islands: “a historically American, uniquely Caribbean and globally interactive” educational institution offers a wide range of degree courses from its campuses on St. Thomas and St. Croix.
