Everything is in place for the highly anticipated annual Cross Channel Swim between St. Kitts and Nevis, according to chief coordinator Jane Hansom.
Speaking on Thursday, March 26, Hansom confirmed that preparations have been finalised for the event, which is scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 28, 2026. The race is set to begin at 8:00 a.m. Eastern Caribbean Time, with swimmers making the challenging crossing between the two islands.
The Cross Channel Swim remains one of the premier open-water events in the region, attracting participants from across the Caribbean and beyond. Organisers say safety measures and logistical arrangements are fully in place to ensure a smooth and successful event.
