The Management of the Nevis Solid Waste Management Authority (NSWMA) wishes to advise the general public that the Low Ground Landfill will be temporarily closed on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
The temporary closure is necessary to facilitate important logistical operations at the landfill site.
Normal operations will resume at 12:00 noon, and members of the public will once again be able to access the facility during regular operating hours.
The NSWMA apologizes for any inconvenience this temporary closure may cause and appreciates the public’s patience, cooperation, and understanding as we work to improve the efficiency and management of our waste disposal services.
