Basseterre, St. Kitts — 607 Construction Lodge Patriots have been crowned champions of the 2025/2026 SKNFA Division 1 season following a commanding 4-0 victory over Rivers of Living Water at the Atiba Erasto Harris Sports Complex on Friday night.
Javern Matthew delivered a standout performance, netting a clinical brace to lead his team to glory. He opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 9th minute before doubling the advantage in the 30th. Aukel Wilson added further goals in the 17th and 49th minutes, sealing a dominant display that confirmed Lodge Patriots as worthy champions.
In the post-match celebrations, Head Coach Eldean Huggins credited the collective effort behind the triumph, highlighting the unwavering support from fans and the wider community.
“It was a long journey, but not only the fellows, not only the team—look at the fans. They came out in full support. This was for the community. I was just there to guide, but these players put in the work, the pain, the effort. We are now Division 1 champions, but the journey continues—we have more to accomplish in the Premier League,” Huggins said.
Club President Leon Natta also reflected on the team’s deliberate and unified push for promotion.
“This achievement is truly deserved. The journey began last October when everyone committed to a single objective—taking Lodge Patriots from Division 1 to the Premier Division. From that point, the players demonstrated dedication and perseverance, session after session,” Natta stated.
Matthew’s stellar outing not only secured the title but also confirmed him as the league’s top scorer, finishing the season with an impressive tally of 24 goals.
