BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS — MFCR Old Road United Jets and SOL IAS Conaree FC have secured their places in the 2026 SKNFA FA Cup Final following impressive semi-final performances.
SOL IAS Conaree FC advanced after a dramatic encounter against Rams Village Superstars, which ended 2–2 after regulation time before Conaree triumphed 5–4 in a penalty shootout. Conaree led 1–0 at halftime courtesy of an own goal in the 26th minute.
The second half produced a flurry of action, with the Village equalising in the 59th minute. Conaree responded almost immediately to regain the lead, but Village struck again in the 81st minute to level the score and force penalties. Conaree maintained their composure in the shootout, converting all five attempts to secure their place in the final.
In the second semi-final, MFCR Old Road United Jets delivered a dominant performance, defeating Azul Cayon Rockets 4–0. Old Road took control early, opening the scoring in the 7th minute and adding two more goals before halftime to carry a 3–0 lead into the break. A fourth goal in the 82nd minute sealed an emphatic victory.
Both teams were reduced to ten players in the 58th minute after red cards were issued for violent conduct.
Following the match, Old Road Head Coach Alexis Morris praised his team’s performance and early dominance.
“Tonight’s victory stemmed from three simple words I gave my players in the locker room—‘impact the game’—and all of my players demonstrated that,” Morris said. “We effectively secured the result early with three first-half goals and cemented our place in the final. It’s great to be in another FA Cup final.”
Morris also expressed confidence ahead of the final against his former club.
“I’ve won everything with Conaree, so I know they are a strong team, and we will not take them lightly. We know they will prepare, and so will we. Preparation prevents poor performance, so we will be ready. At the end of it, MFCR Old Road United will be FA Cup champions.”
