Govanie Manners-Hendrickson is confident that there is definitely a future for Netball on the island of Nevis.
She spoke at the Grell Hull Stevens Netball Complex on Thursday 21st July, while coordinating training sessions with a group of young ladies, on behalf of the Sports Department.
She stated that they were being taught the basics of Netball which include the rules involved and catching and passing techniques.
She is being assisted by Sianna Leader, Charlene Martin and Jasmine Charles.
The program commenced on Monday 11th July and is expected to conclude today-Friday 22nd July.
There were twelve participants involved, ranging from 5 years up to 15 years.
