St. Kitts & Nevis — :
The St. Kitts and Nevis Sailing Association (SKNSA) continues to make waves across the Caribbean as its young athletes delivered another outstanding performance- bringing home two more trophies from the 20th Edition of the St. Maarten Budget Marine Championships, held November 27th–30th, 2025.
From the first whistle, Team SKN showed they were in it to win. Following practice races and the opening ceremony, the Green Fleet quickly became an SKN stronghold. By Day 2, Clijae Christmas-Mulley and Emijah Maynard had seized and defended 1st and 2nd place with confidence and tactical mastery.
Despite rapidly shifting weather—intense sun, a few showers, and huge waves—Team SKN remained unshaken.
Their determination and skill underscored SKNSA’s reputation as one of the Caribbean’s fastest-rising youth sailing programs.
Coach Nicholas Dupré, SKNSA President, stated, “ Our sailors are showing the region what St. Kitts and Nevis is capable of. Their growth is extraordinary, and their performances this weekend were the result of discipline, courage, and determination. Every race they sail raises the profile of our Federation and opens doors for future generations.”
Coach Nickhail has always said, “The commitment from these young athletes is inspiring. They push hard in training, lift each other up, and compete with heart. With continued support, there is no limit to how far SKN sailors can go.”
SKNSA extends warm congratulations to Clijae Christmas-Mulley and Emijah Maynard for their brilliant victories.
Congratulations to Team St. Barthelemy and all other participating countries for their outstanding performances. We also express sincere gratitude to the parents, coaches, private sponsors, the Nevis Island Administration’s Ministry of Sport, the St. Kitts and Nevis Olympic Committee, and all supporters and well-wishers. Your support fuels the dreams of our young athletes and strengthens the future of sailing in the Federation.
