Charlestown, Nevis – Members of the Nevis Social Services Recreational Group embraced the beauty of the island’s natural landscape during an invigorating nature walk held on Thursday, June 25.
The outing took participants on a scenic journey through Rawlins, continuing along Malibarne before concluding at Liburd’s Estate. For those eager to go the extra mile, the adventure extended to Golden Rock, providing an additional opportunity to enjoy Nevis’ breathtaking countryside.
The nature walk offered seniors more than just physical exercise—it provided an opportunity for fellowship, relaxation, and appreciation of the island’s rich natural environment. Blessed with cool breezes, picturesque surroundings, and warm companionship, participants described the experience as a memorable and enjoyable day filled with laughter, conversation, and positive energy.
The Nevis Seniors Recreational Group continues to organise activities that promote healthy living, active ageing, and social engagement, encouraging seniors to remain physically active while strengthening friendships and community connections.
