SPECIAL OLYMPIANS CONTINUE SERIOUS TRAINING

By Curtis Morton

Sunday 25th February, was another important day for the Special Olympians of St. Kitts and Nevis.

On that day, they once again assembled at the Oualie Beach hotel, where they continued their training for the Special Olympics games scheduled for 2019, when for the first time, the SKN team is hoping to participate in the Triathlon event.

Under the direct supervision of Winston Crooke and a host of other volunteers, they completed the swim distance; the bike distance and concluded with a run.

It is understood that such training will be a regular feature, at least once per month and training will become more intense as the date Special Olympics games draws closer.
