BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – Althus Whyte of Sandy Point, St. Kitts, has been sentenced to five months’ imprisonment with hard labour after pleading guilty to the offence of Larceny.

The offence was committed on December 15, 2025. Whyte entered a guilty plea on July 13, 2026.

On July 17, 2026, Her Honour Mrs Rhonda Nisbett-Browne, presiding at the Basseterre Magistrate’s Court, sentenced Whyte to serve five months with hard labour at His Majesty’s Prison.

The sentencing underscores the court’s commitment to holding offenders accountable for crimes against property and maintaining public confidence in the administration of justice.
