BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at Nping Supermarket in Old Road on the afternoon of July 18, 2026, between 4:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
According to police, a suspect described as tall and slim entered the supermarket and brandished a firearm while demanding cash. The suspect reportedly stole an undisclosed sum of money before fleeing the scene on a red and black motorcycle, travelling west along the Island Main Road.
No injuries were reported during the incident.
Officers from the Crime Scene Unit processed the scene and collected several items of evidential value as part of the ongoing investigation.
The RSCNPF is appealing to members of the public who may have information that could assist investigators to contact the nearest police station or anonymously report information through the Crime Stoppers hotline at 707.
Police have assured the public that all information received will be treated with the strictest confidence.
