At 8:00 am, the center of Tropical Storm Fiona was located near latitude 16.1north, longitude 63.4 west or about 95 miles southwest of St. Kitts.
Based on the latest forecast track information, Tropical Storm Fiona continues to move further away from St. Kitts and Nevis. sustained tropical storm force winds has been subsiding.
Therefore, the tropical warning was discontinued as of 8 am.
Residents in St. Kitts and Nevis should continue to closely monitor the progress of Tropical Storm Fiona.
