On May 4 2013 eleven beauties from across the region will vie for the coveted Miss Caribbean World title.
The pageant which will see its 8th staging this year, will be held at Tortola’s Multi-Purpose Sports Complex. Contestants will put their best foot forward in the swimwear, costume, talent, evening wear and interview segments. The personal interview will be held on May 1.
Listed below are the 11 contestants:

Dominica-Leslassa Armour Shillingford
St. Croix- Cliaunjel Williams
St Kitts & Nevis- Trevicia Adams
St. Lucia- Joy-Ann Biscette
St. Vincent & the Grenadines -Carice Glasgow
Trinidad & Tobago-Sonia Millington
USA-Jaielean Thomas
They are expected to arrive in the British Virgin Island April 30.
The reigning Miss Caribbean World is Nadira Lando of Dominica. Former Miss BVI, Abigail Hyndman placed first runner-up last year.
