The Regional Organisation for Women in Leadership (ROWL)

The Regional Organisation for Women in Leadership (ROWL) is pleased to announce the open call for applications for its new program Advancing and Inspiring Mentees (AIM). The program will harness the potential of 10 young aspiring women leaders through effective programmes and mentorship.

The program will commence on January 19, 2022, and will run for a period of four months ending on April 19, 2022, and will focus on areas of development in:

● Image Consulting, Styling and Grooming

● Personal and Professional Brand

● Writing Development

● Research and Information

● Civic Engagement

● Public Speaking

● Career Development

● Resume & CV Development

Eligibility & Criteria

Young women with a strong interest in personal and professional development are invited to apply for the AIM Programme. Applicants must be available to participate in bi-monthly two-hour sessions from January 19, 2022, to April 19, 2022.

Applicants should identify themselves as aspiring leaders who will benefit from a four-month interactive, leadership training and mentorship opportunity to advance their careers and must meet the following criteria:

● Be 18 – 30 years by the application deadline.

● Citizens of Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, British Virgin Islands, Dominica, Grenada, Montserrat, St. Kitts and Nevis,
St. Lucia, Martinique, Guadeloupe or St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

Persons are also welcome to nominate young women from the Caribbean region who they believe will benefit from the programme to develop their necessary skills and confidence to excel and demonstrate leadership acumen in all areas of their lives.

About ROWL
ROWL seeks to equip women with the necessary training and mentorship to become strategic and resilient global leaders. It was founded by five (5) alumni of the inaugural WIPLI cohort in 2020.

ROWL is a strong team with expertise in Economics, Political Science, International Law, Mediation, Creative Arts, Human Rights and Journalism. Collectively, ROWL has a track record of participating in and coordinating complex regional efforts involving diverse stakeholders, including UNESCO, UN Women, UNDP, UNHRC, IDB, World Bank, OAS, OECS, Royal Commonwealth Society, Outright International,
PANCAP, British High Commission Bridgetown.

The ROWL team consists of women in various leadership roles from St.Lucia, Dominica, St.Kitts &Nevis and Barbados. The leadership team for ROWL consists of:
