The Government of Saint Kitts and Nevis brought together a broad cross-section of stakeholders, including representatives from the private sector, civil service, non-governmental organisations, student bodies and community groups, for meaningful dialogue to help shape the 2027 National Budget.

Held at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort under the theme “Investing Strategically, Strengthening Resilience, Delivering for the People,” the Budget 2027 National Forum provided an important platform for consultation, collaboration and the exchange of ideas on the Federation’s development priorities and economic future.

The forum featured presentations from ministers and senior government officials representing key sectors, including finance, tourism, agriculture and infrastructure. The St. Kitts and Nevis Chamber of Industry and Commerce also contributed to the discussions, highlighting the importance of private-sector engagement in the national budgetary process.

The keynote address was delivered by Acting Prime Minister, the Honourable Dr Geoffrey Hanley, who addressed the significance of strategic investment, national resilience and delivering meaningful outcomes for the people of Saint Kitts and Nevis.

The engagement underscores the government’s commitment to inclusive consultation and ensuring that diverse perspectives help inform the policies, priorities and investments that will shape the country’s development in 2027 and beyond.
