Single Parents Support Group Donates To Flamboyant Home

Charlestown-Nevis-The Single parents support group continues to make a significant impact on the society.
On Wednesday 20th March, the group visited the Flambuoyant Senior Citizens Home and presented that institution with a well needed supply of pampers.
In making the donation, Coordinator of the group, Mrs. Grace Manners, noted that March 21st is recognized worldwide as Single parents’ day and in light of that fact, the group was hosting a number of activities.
Apart from the significant donation, they also had a church service and conducted morning devotions on VON radio, during the week.
She noted that the seniors would have made their contributions to the welfare of the society and deserve the assistance in return.
Member of the group, Mrs. Michelle Hanley, thanked the many donors who continue to assist the group in annually making such donations and singled out Rudy and his team at Best Buy Supermarket, for special assistance with the securing of the pampers.

She also invited the general public to stay tuned for information on their next fund raiser, which will be the annul mothers’ day raffle.

Miss Lydia Lawrence, another group member presented the pampers to the Nurse in charge,

Nurse Diddier, who graciously accepted on behalf of the institution and asked for God’s continued blessings on the group.
