Gingerland-Nevis- Some seven years after he was originally reported missing, a memorial service was held in honour of Dylon Clarke.
The service was presided over by Pastor Stanton Adams and Elder Frankly Browne and was held at the Gingerland Seventh day Adventist church, where the missing teen was a member at the time of his untimely demise.
The service included hymns, scripture readings by family members; a classical musical rendition on piano, by Jack Ngumbah; special renditions by family members and Tessa Nicholas and a special tribute, presented by his uncle, Frank Clarke.
The dynamic sermon of the day was delivered by Pastor Adams, who in consoling the family admonished them to focus on the good times they had had with their missing loved one and advised that it will become easier to deal with their grief, as time passes by.
He used the opportunity to encourage all present to make their ‘calling and election sure,’ being fully aware of the uncertainties of life.
The seventeen year old teenager who was born on January 22nd 1995, went missing on April 28th 2012 and has not been seen since.
